Living Water (Solo Version)
He was resting by the well
When I brought my jar to fill
He asked for me to give Him drink
In surprise I asked Him how
A drink from me, He would allow
and His answer prompted me to think
If thou knewest who I was,
You'd ask me to fill your cup
and you'd never thirst again
but be filled up
You would never thirst again
for you would have a well within
ever springing into everlasting life
But I wondered how he'd draw
with the well so deep and all
for where could He draw the water from
He said, There's no need to draw
It's a blessed gift from God
Come partake this living water, come
If thou knewest who I was,
You'd ask me to fill your cup
and you'd never thirst again
but be filled up
You would never thirst again
for you would have a well within
ever springing into everlasting life
Then I knew who He was
He was my savior, the son of God
And this gift that He was offering to me
Meant I would never thirst again
for I could have a well within
ever springing into everlasting life
I'll fill my well with living water,
Lord, I'll come!
