Joy to the World (For Piano, Organ, Choir and Congregation)
This song makes a wonderful ending to a beautiful Christmas program. It's beautiful and powerful. The download button downloads the whole score, but to make it easier for printing, I also include the choir and piano separately and the organ and congregation separately.
You can download those parts here:
Piano and Choir arrangement:
Organ and Congregation arrangement:
Our Choir performed this for the first time last Christmas. This song was written for the choir to sing WITH the congregation, with both organ and piano playing together. The spirit that I felt when we sang this song was powerful. I have never experienced something so spiritually moving, as when as I was able to conduct this song with voices and (orchestration) surrounding me. It was amazing, and I truly hope I'll have that opportunity again with a full orchestra as well!
Joy to the world, the Lord is come;
Let earth receive her King!
Let ev'ry heart prepare him room,
And Saints and angels sing,
And Saints and angels sing
And Saints and Saints and angels sing.
Rejoice! Rejoice when Jesus reigns,
And Saints their songs employ,
While fields and floods, rocks, hills, and plains
Repeat the sounding joy
Repeat the sounding joy
Repeat, repeat the sounding joy.
No more will sin and sorrow grow,
Nor thorns in-fest the ground!
He'll come and make the blessings flow
Far as the curse was found,
Far as the curse was found
Far as, Far as, the curse was found.
Rejoice! Rejoice in the Most High,
While Israel spreads a-broad!
Like stars that glitter in the sky,
And ever worship God,
And ever worship God,
And ever, and ever worship God!
Joy to the World!
Joy to the World!
Joy! Joy! Joy!
