In Holy Places

This song was inspired by the 2013 LDS Mutual Theme. It came almost all at once when I was at the temple several months ago. Unfortunately, I was too busy to try and write it all down and by the time I pulled out a pen and paper, I had forgotten it. I prayed if it was important, that I’d be able to remember it again.

Thankfully, a couple months later, the song again came into my mind, while I was sitting again, at the temple.

I enter the temple and I feel God's light
Surrounded by glory and beautiful white
There I'm reminded of all I've potential to be

I leave armed with power that I have received
A promise I get from the cov'nants I keep
Careful to stand where I know He would lead and guide me
