I Am All In!

This song was written for the 2019 Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Mutual Theme.

I took the challenge by President Nelson to read the Book of Mormon by the end of the year (2018). I marked all the scriptures that had anything to do with Christ or the Spirit, or Heavenly Father. I was amazed how many times I marked something that had to do with obeying the commandments.

If people obeyed the commandments, they were blessed. When they didn't, it seemed like that was always the beginning of bad things that happened.

"If ye love, keep my comandments." John 14:15. That's the mutual theme for 2019. I had been already thinking of writing a song for the theme, but when I was asked to come up with a musical number that the girls could sing on Faith, this song came quickly to my mind. I love it, and hope your youth will love it too!

Verse One
God has asked us to be faithful
If we love Him
to obey
To keep all His commandments
And to follow in His ways
Father wants us to be happy
And To let contentions cease
To follow in His footsteps
and to feel His promised peace

Chorus
And I am All in
Focused on serving Him
I am All in
Listening to his commands
I will serve the Lord with confidence
My light will shine for Him
I am All In
All In

Verse Two
God has promised us great blessings
If we do what
He command’s
He’s promised we’ll be happy
Filled with joy
in His great plan
We will feel the spirit fill us with His love
and endless peace
He’ll testify of who we are
Divine identities

Chorus

Bridge
The Savior gave the greatest gift
no other man could do
I love the Lord I’ll serve Him
I’ll do what he’s asked me to

Chorus

I am all in
I am all in
I am all in!
All In!
