Arise and Shine Forth

I wasn’t planning to write a song for the 2012 LDS Mutual Theme this year, but this one almost plowed me over. This was a song I felt totally inspired to write– from start to finish. At the same time, I was also feeling promptings to share a little more of my light– in a new form– videos! It’s a little scary to share your light with others, but when you realize that it’s really His light that you’re sharing– it helps to take away the fear!

I now have a Videos page on my site. If you watch the one entitled, “Source of Inspiration” you’ll hear me singing the chorus of this song. I believe I had to write this song– as encouragement for me! Hopefully it will inspire you as well! Enjoy!

Blessed to have a knowledge of the gospel
Born when truth and wisdom are so openly revealed
